The Downtown Line Stage 2 C920 project is a design and build project include the construction of Newton Station, four tunnels that connect Newton Station to Little India Station and Stevens Station with a total length of 5.32km and a Cable Tunnel using pipe Jacking method. Four 6.35m diameter EPS machines were used to construct the bored tunnels. The contract value is S$355.7 million.
